Conduit bending calculator
Offset, 90° stub and 3-point saddle — the marks and shrink you need at the bender, without the math on your knee.
Back to AstralLearnTwo equal 30° bends. Mark spacing = rise × 2. Add the shrink to your measured distance so the offset lands where you want it.
Rules of thumb for common EMT hand-bending — always confirm against your bender's stamped marks and a test bend.
The idea: an offset is two equal bends — spacing = rise × the angle's multiplier (6.0 at 10°, 2.0 at 30°, 1.4 at 45°), and every bend "shrinks" the run a little, so you add the shrink back. A 90° stub uses your bender's take-up; a 3-point saddle is a 45° center with 22.5° sides.
